Spring Fling 2026
Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League is so excited to announce our annual Spring Fling tournament. The tournament will take place over two weekends. We will have multiple levels in our 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions. Also, the 8U levels will feature half-ice games with scores and standings tracked.
We will also have our fan favorite concession stand, raffle table, and tournament merchandise each weekend. All games will take place at the Peter Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Skating Rink in North Adams, MA.
February 27 – March 1, 2026
10U B&C and 12U B&C
March 13 – 15, 2026
8U B&C and 18U B
10U, 12U, 18U: $1,100| 8U: $500
Both weekends are USA/MA Hockey Sanctioned!

The Northern Berkshire Black Bears are hosting a Youth Hockey Equipment Drive—and we need YOUR help to gear up the next generation of players!
We’re collecting youth and junior-sized gear in good condition to support local families and keep our rink buzzing with energy and opportunity.

Whether it’s skates, sticks, pads, or helmets—every donation helps build confidence, community, and a love for the game. Let’s make sure no kid sits out because they don’t have the gear.

Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey
Since 1969 Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey (NBYHL) has been a league that has promoted and developed the game of hockey among the youth of Northern Berkshire County, Massachusetts, and Southern Vermont. Our league has travel teams (Black Bears) for boys and girls from age 6 through high school. We also boast a learn to skate and learn to play program for ages 4-10.
The purpose of the league is to provide the best available instruction in order to teach the game of hockey, stress the importance of physical fitness, and provide the core values of USA Hockey: sportsmanship; respect for the individual; integrity; pursuit of excellence as an individual, team, and organization; enjoyment; loyalty; and teamwork.
